Casper Leander Djerf is a student at Leiden University, studying Crisis and Security Management (MSc). He also holds an MSc in Political Theory and a BSc in Political Science, also from Leiden University. Casper’s main interests are discourse and communication theory and how these relate to actions taken by political actors against migrants. The TIES project offers Casper the possibility to help inform students in the EU on a topic so central to political debates in an academic manner, and he hopes that this will help them form their own opinions towards the often charged subject of migration.
